Default New UW Inside Tombs Here to Stay?

Im really curious about this because "evil" inside the tombs was the storyline behind this event, so...once the event is over, will the mobs disapear? If that does happen..the new greens price will sky rocket..

I'm sure it will stay, as this really was not part of the event, just a story line progression to get us to move to the new PVP area and anyway they have done all this work now so where is the fun in changing it back?

As far as I know the only thing that will be removed are the two new classes and their respective skills.

i think that is correct. ^ there wouldn't be a point in removing the new area really.. at least i don't see one. :P

and just to throw this out there, grr stop calling it the 'new underworld'! it's not the new underworld, it is the tomb of the primieval kings. the first map of tombs is called the underworld, and some monsters there are from the underworld, but it is not the underworld! you go from 'the underworld', to 'scarred earth', to 'the courtyard', to the 'hall of heroes', it is tombs! (just a pve monster overrun shortened version) now that that is off my chest.. have a nice day.

Yes, but those areas are part of the Underworld. It's just a different area than the part you go to from a statue of Grenth.

Plus ectos drop there, and ectos only drop in the Underworld, right?

The way GW seems to work is there are not "maps" or "levels". The world is made up of continuous architecture, but different things are loaded when you "zone".

The "old tombs" PvP area, which should really be called the Hall of Heroes is moved to Heroes Ascent yes. The "new" underworld isn't really the underworld at all if you talked with the NPCs before and during event, it's just the old tombs but overrun by monsters "overrun by the enemies of Balthazar" one of them explains... so it's permanent, and ecto etc drops because beasties from the underworld came and took it over

I wish they called it 'Ruins of the Primeval King'...

Now when someone talks about 'doing tombs', there is some confusion.
No way I'll call it 'doing Ascension/HA/heroes'.
'doing hoh' is a bit strange also.

This will stay. Im pretty sure that Gaile Gray said so in a conversation a little while ago. And there are still lots of confused people in tombs I think. There are people saying" GLF( put profession here) must be r+3 or higher, show by ghostly hero.

*Sigh..* Now my home is overrun my silly monsters. Ever since the Zaishan came, everything has gone downhill. Where will I live now? Heroe's Ascend? Maybe then I can be king again!

maybe we should just call it the ruins of the tombs....that would work.

Grimm: i think that GW works by loading up maps for you to explore. they just used the same templates/archetecture (sp?) when making the real Underworld and the PvP map.

i find it odd also that the UW has a sky....makes it feel a bit more peaceful (aside from the monsters out to eat you in a couple bites) with one, but it's still odd.

What will happen with the whole favor thing? The whole international competition. Do they plan on ever plan on putting favor back.

It's still in, but people were unhappy about being shut out of PvE areas due to it. Smart move to keep this area open 24/7.
